2007 QED, Walla Walla Valley, Magnum
$110.00
(96 Mags Produced)
The 2007 QED is a blend of 94% Syrah, 3% Grenache and 3% Mourvedre. The wine was aged 17 months in French oak with 20% in new barrels. The majority of the Syrah fruit comes from the Les Collines Vineyard in Walla Walla with Syrah from Seven Hills Vineyard (Walla Walla) and Lewis Vineyard (Yakima) playing supporting roles. A little bit of Mourvedre and Grenache (both from Minick Vineyards in Yakima) help fill out the wine and give it more structure and nuance.
The proof is in the bottle - QED.
